2 of 2 found this helpful This is the best portable radio available in my opinion. It has great reception, super battery life, and better static suppression than any radio I've owned. The current Eton-Grundig replacement is a very poor substitute. If you can find one of these buy it!

Bright, pretty, and shiny, but does not slice garlic.
While it has a nice, bright finish, the blade is not very sharp and has a lot of play in its mounting. As a result, it does not slice garlic very well at all. It may work for cheese and chocolate but not for garlic. Slicing garlic is one of its advertised functions and the reason for which it was purchased.
