Tighter closing to make thin crisp cookies. Cookies are too thick. Does not compare to original "villaware" iron.

Great Pizzelle maker!

Makes great Pizzelles..replacing a 50 yr old one that was getting worn out! still using old recipe handed down from an Italian cook to my mother . I always double the anise extract for more flavor!
