Buy something else.
1 of 1 found this helpful I refer to the book alone with these coments. The print looks distinctly reproduced, slightly out of focus and not vibrant as should be for a child. The story is supposed to be about football but there are few illustrations in which a football features. I did want this for a young child but have not given it to him. The way the pictures are set/placed are all over the place. I didn't rate it much at all and if I had seen it before I purchased. I wouldn't have got it. I think the story is poor and not engaging for a child.
Don't recommend.

This item is very expensive for what it is.
It is quite clever but provides limited play opportunity as it only comes with one character / vehicle. Even if affordable after paying extortionate amount for Cruiser, the extras are not available to buy yet in the UK. We found what we thought would be an appropriate extra in the shops. It was as usual expensive and bubble packed. It was not compatible with the cruiser after all, when we opened it.
It has helped me to decide not to be pressurised into buying any more expensive plastic, poor value toys, because it has been advertised to young children. I shall put money in my grandson's savings portfolio instead.

Brilliance
I love the shape colour and quality of the lamps but the lightbulbs were far too harsh in colour and power. That is the reason I have awarded them only Four stars.
I went into john Lewis and found much softer lights with pale gold colour. Much more suitable but they cost £8.00 each! One of the bulbs provided with the lamps didn't work anyway. Knowing this I would still buy the lamps and am enjoying seeing them by the bedside.
