A good replacement part for this value waste bin.
The replacement lid is a good quality product, however, it seems a waste to consign the original lid to the recycle bin simply because the original plastic apparatus controlling the opening and closing movement of the lid no longer functions.
it seems much more sensible to redesign the plastic apparatus so it could be easily attached to the original lid, much cheaper for the owner.

value for money buy.
My third LG, cheaper than Sony but picture quality just as good.

Simple but necessary part
It is a very simple product ancillary to an expensive one but it serves a purpose and it is just a nuisance if this part does not function
