Dazed & Confused, in this day and age.
This movie is a nostalgic look back at the seventies. The life of average everyday teenagers, as seen in this film, that depicts shenanigans on the last day of school. Nothing shocking here, unless you've only seen the severely edited TV version. A sprinkling of profanity exists in the vernacular of the characters' language. Not that any of us have ever indulged in conversations like that! Many of the actors in this movie have been viewed in other films, as this, more than likely was the springboard for their individual successes. Basically this was to the seventies what American Graffitti was to the fifties. A coming-of-age film that most people from that era will enjoy: the adventures of characters they are bound to recognize from their own high school days. I know I saw someone that looked like me, even my wife admitted it, until I pointed out one of the characters that looked so much like her brother that when she saw him, her jaw dropped! See if you can find one of the characters that reminds you of someone you knew. I'm sure you'll howl with laughter when you see a certain person in the movie and recognize him or her as a friend from the old days. I bought this film as a little escape from the present,to journey back to a time well reminised. I plan on taking that journey many times, until I wear out the disc! The soundtrack is well worth finding online, there are many songs that you'll love to hear over and over again. This disc is especially collectable for the omitted scenes not shown in the video. There are also some commercials from that time as well. I know you'll enjoy this movie.

HO Scale ROUNDHOUSE - OVERTON COACH PASSENGER CAR - D&RGW (SILVERTON) #327

Oh no, it's not HO
Although item box is marked HO, this is somewhere between HO and N scale. Wheel width is correct, but train car is way small. Even compared to other cars in my collection, this particular item is oddly smaller/shorter.

Moonlight Feels Right/Rock 'n' Roll Rocket by Starbuck
You know your getting old when all you can find of your favorite groups are the 'Best Of' albums. It is a great feeling to find the rare release or album in its entirety. So you can imagine how I might've felt when I came across this two album set. It seems unfortunate that Starbuck only released two records, but what is available is what I'll call 'rare gold'. This group, when they appeared on the scene in the early '70's, was touted as being ahead of their time. Originally I wanted this album for the most popular song- 'Moonlight Feels Right', but the other songs are just as classic as the title track. This CD version will last decades longer than my original cassette recording, which was second-hand at best; I recorded it from a friend's store-bought tape. If you like Starbuck, you'll love this album!
