Pops and Sputters!
Cobra says installation of this product will "virtually" eliminate popping and backfiring, but nothing could be farther from the truth. Before installation my motorcycle popped a lot with the factory equipment installed, now it is just louder.
I had to purchase the California ARB approved product which I wasn't happy about because it can't be adjusted and I am sure this had a lot to do with the issue above.
I am satisfied with the product despite the above-it sounds great and throttle performance is a better, but I am not seeing a much in the way of a performance increase power-wise, but having said that, Cobra doesn't claim much of a performance increase with the installation.
I tested the bike without the Cobra without the Fi2000R and with it installed and couldn't see any advantages either way with regard to performance increase or increase or decrease in popping and sputtering. It doesn't seem to have made the bike run cooler either and I checked using a laser thermometer, before installation and after installation, directed at the cylinders, heads and exhaust pipes as temperature points-of-reference. The front cylinder, head and exhaust pipe always was about 20-30 degrees cooler that the rear which is always the case with a large twin.

It works for me
Took me all of 5-10 mins. to completely install and reassemble. Appears to function well, but I still have to put 100 rounds through the pistol to be sure, but I am confident it will work flawlessly. Seller, Dan, very good communications.

RASHERS!
Our rashers turned out very well and our bacon was great. You have to try this if you are from Ireland and long for bacon and rashers here in the States.
