Fantastic tent!
Brilliant little tent, perfect for our weekend camping trips!

What a cracking little camping tool!!
Bought this to try and add something different for family camping lunches. We took on away camping for a week and it ended up being one of our most used items!! I was really impressed- I ended up mainly using it for making toast in the mornings, something this thing does really well. My wife doesn’t usually like ‘camping toast’ as it used to end up taking so long to cook on our previous ‘toasting tool’ that it was like buttering mildly warm dehydrated cardboard. If you use this in closed formation, it ends up being on par if not better than toast at home. Works well as a toastie maker as well but don’t expect it to be like the electric toastie makers you buy- it doesn’t crimp the edges to seal the bread, so ideally you want fillings such as cheese that will sort of glue both pieces of bread together when it’s melted. It’s more of a ‘toasted sandwich’ maker in that respect. This little contraption turned out to be a big hit in our tent! Just a note- it works better if your hob is good quality, i.e- a decent flame on it. You’re toast or ‘toastie’ ends up cooking in no time so keep a good eye on it!

Perfect if you’re willing to put a little work in
I was really surprised at the quality of this product- fibreglass spoilers have come a long way over the years. That’s not to say that you can give it a quick sand and paint and expect it to be like a much more expensive factory version though. Be prepared to stopper the pinholes around the edges and maybe give it a skim across the top before getting plenty of high build primer on it. I was willing to put a couple of hours fettling it before paint in order to save the £100+ on a genuine BMW one, you would need to ask yourself if you were to avoid any disappointment. The great thing about it was that it fitted well on the car when I offered it up before painting, so no messing was required in that respect. All in all, I personally was chuffed with it, but this was due to my expectations not being too high considering the price tag!
