One of Kings best stories for TV
1 of 1 found this helpful Having been a fan of SK since I was a boy, I've been subject to a few screen adaptations of his works that, to put it politely, could have been done much better to give justice to the far superior novel it was based on (not pointing any elbows **he points his elbow to 'a good marriage'**). Storm of the century however I am ecstatic to report is NOT one of them - in a way, it's right up there as one of my favourites. I put it simply down to a good story backed up with some decent acting performances, when you finally find out what he wants in order for him to 'go away' your totally hooked in as it drags us through to the final third closing with a very thought provoking and actually quite tragic ending. So, take my advice - purchase this film. When it drops through your letter box turn off the phone, draw the curtains, dim the lights & turn up the volume.....there's a storm coming.......

Brilliant adventure
