Good for supporting filler repairs

Just the job for backing some filler repairs - easy to bend and manipulate into a hole with the aid of a couple of wire hooks. Cheap, arrived quickly.

Replacement glass

It's a replacement glass by Bodum. It's a bit pricey but, since no-one else makes an equivalent, you either buy this or a whole new cafetiere if your original glass gets broken.

A great second-hand buy for a CD player

I only use this to listen to CDs via good quality headphones (AKG K371) when I'm in a different room to my main hifi set-up ( prefer to listen via speakers). The sound quality is excellent: very detailed, punchy, analytical, wide soundstage (as far as that can go with closed headphones). In act, with some CDs, I hear more information than I can with my main set-up. I'm just now listening to JJ Cale Special Edition and I've never heard so many nuances of his voice. It's easy to use but my used example has no remote so I don't have the full control I have with my Marantz CD-60SE but that doesn't matter for my use of it. It's very solid and looks to last for ever. I got it for 60-something quid and I'm very pleased.
