Healthy diet finally makes sense
1 of 1 found this helpful This book is the product of much research and in particular the lifestyle, as well as diet, of people of Pioppi in Italy. It explains the importance of the omega 3s to 6s ratio, and how generally we consume too many omega 6s causing an imbalance which can lead to health problems. It would seem that generally speaking the UK population has been poisoning itself since the food pyramid of the 1970s which promoted carbs and omega 6 fat. Didn't we all feed our children Flora?
I believe reading this book should be compulsory

Enlightening
This explains that many of our illnesses are due to our inappropriate diet based on the advice of the 70s
We should have eaten high fat low carb, not high carb low fat.
Explains the connection between gut and brain.

Very sturdy
Chose this for my granddaughter's first birthday present. It is stable enough for her to pull herself up on it and doesn't run away with her when she sets off. It really is a lovely well built old fashioned baby walker
