Big Sound in a Little Package
First of all, the Champion is lightweight. Easy to carry around. Caution: the wood in the cabinet is thinner than normal to save weight, but be careful if you sit on it. The sound on the clean channel is pure Fender Clean - there is none better. On the second channel the various amps are usable with some better than others. There are some excellent blues sounds in there. The effects are very good, but personally I prefer pedals. Great volume available. Amazing for just 40 watts. Love the amp and don't miss the tubes. The Fender Solid State amps seem to give lots of power across the board.

Great little, easy pickup.
Great pickup, really nice. Advantages are No Piezo Quacking, No Battery, easy mounting, can be temporary or permanent mount. No need to unplug it when finished playing. Very pure string sound. Not microphonic so no body noise. No disadvantages I can see.
There's no volume or tone control but it is a passive pickup after all.
