Good price, but almost impossible to use with needles.

I have only used this a few times because: The timer (which is essential for operation makes a loud ticking noise during operation and a series of very loud beeps as it turns off. This is not very relaxing for the patient or the practitioner! More importantly, it is impossible to finely adjust the output strength. When stimulating needles, it changes from no stimulus to very strong with the slightest touch on the knob (this happens at around 1 on an output range of 1-5). Switching between Low and Hi output makes no difference - it seems to be on Hi all the time. Unfortunately I was not able to use it for several weeks after I received it or I would have complained and returned it. I will now have to see whether I can fit resistors in the wires to lessen the sensitivity.

Mixed quality

Gear wheel seems solid. The belt is around half the thickness of the original so I cannot tell what the life expectancy will be. It certainly works at the moment.

Does what it says on the tin

Early days to comment on how well it lasts, but it works well and seems solid and the gold plating should keep the contacts working properly. Promptly delivered and good price.
