A long lasting durable flashlight.
The Fulton MX991/U Flashlight is very dependable, rugged, and durable.
This is a flashlight that will not wear out. It was first made in the 1950s-1960s for military and professional utility workers and has changed very little since then (they're still made the same way and existing original models should still work).
The plastic is made to withstand harsh conditions, climates, and toxic materials. The simple construction ensures fewer breaking parts and a longer lifespan.
It usually comes with a red and blue filter, however, some also include a blackout filter (white disc), diffusion filter, as well as an amber and green filter.
The regular incandescent bulb can be replaced with an LED bulb (look for a 1-3 watt 3 volt led bulb).
There are many imitations of this flashlight, however, the most durable and dependable ones are made by the Fulton Corporation, which is the supplier for the US military.
