Disappointing

I bought this to replace the one supplied with the computer. The original tended to run down very quickly when it got to around 50% and certainly didn't last long enough even for a modest length meeting. The replacement is no better. It too does not last as long as it should and goes from about 50% to 6% in a quarter of an hour. For that reason I can't recommend it. However there doesn't seem to be an alternative so I'm stuck with what I've got. It's an internal battery so you can't even carry a spare to swap.

Does what it says.

You either like battery grips for these cameras or you don't. I've always used one. They're good for people with large hands and/or if you're using a long/heavy lens. One advantage is that you don't lose photo opportunities if one battery gets low as the camera switches automatically to the other.
