the people gathered together to pray and sing converted the roman empire to Christianity.
I liked it soooo much, I purchased 2 copies 1 for my church and one for the choir director. It talks about the shift from paganism's songs thru the Old Testament psalms to early hymns of christianity that told the gospel story.

Old books can be new again
I loved this book when I was about 8 and was reading all the authors books that the library had. I still love it and was happy to find it to share with my grandchildren while we ate bowls of blueberries.

divinely inspired writing
I love to buy books written by Fulton Sheen. He was an excellent writer. A universal man, books written 50 or more years ago are current in thought and content. If you do not look at the print date you would think it was just written as it is so applicable to today. I love to buy books by this author on ebay. It is so convenient and they are available at a reasonable price. You can shop in your pajamas and when they arrive in the mail you can get cozy in bed and become enlightened and uplifted as you read again the words and thoughts written by a divinely inspired master of the english language.
