Ford Aod to FE bell housing

I found this bell housing to be of good quality and workmanship, all holes lined up perfectly. The stock starter worked fine . The down side is that the instructions provided are not model specific and provided no information on how to clearance the torque converter to the flywheel and crank pilot.Being a professional with 40 years of experience this was just a fun challenge. It took bolting and unbolting the transmission to engine a couple of times, shimming the stock converter back , making a crank pilot bushing and grinding a little on the crank for pilot clearance. In short ,this is the only bell housing I could find to do this swap and I am happy to have it.I believe if Quick Time would supply a pilot bushing for the stock torque converter, shims and most importantly detailed instructions this would be a 5 star product not only for racing but for vintage street too. Installed in 1966 Ford Country Sedan station wagon

2002 V rod

Great product. Takes a bit to install, but it's well worth the effort. Loaded the closest map and the Vrod started right up. rode it for 100 miles and run the auto relearn and everything works great. Much better than the stock EC m.
