Elegant bath for a single foot

You can buy hideous plastic foot-baths but they seem all to be intended for two feet. That entails twice as much liquid (roughly). I needed a bath for a single large foot (11), preferably one made of glass or china rather than plastic. After a long search, I found this bowl and it has worked well for my purpose. It is quite substantial and thus does not slip about on the floor and it is easy to clean..

Good enough, great price.

I took a punt on this, given the very low price I paid. The first one had cracked open in transit (hence my quality score) but the seller sent me a replacement immediately. The second one was structurally sound and the Dell BIOS battery section did not report any issues. It was also a perfect fit for the laptop case -- I had been wondering if such 9-cell units might not be. I charged it up and used it off-mains for several hours. So far, so good. An official Dell spare would have cost me more than the (s/h) laptop itself.

Invaluable collection for Sussex local historians

This exceeded my expectations by a large margin. There was lots of stuff that I had not seen before, some of it very useful. PDF search has worked in all the cases I have tried but copy-and-paste of text does not seem to work (not a big deal so far as I am concerned). Operation directly off the supplied DVD ROM is slow, as one would expect. You will want to copy all the files that interest you to a hard drive or server. The content is almost entirely standard PDF and I have had no problems printing particular pages.
