balanced well
had the gmag 6 years ago when first released, but now need the same performance but with a spool which holds more line and is a bit more sturdy than the 6. can walk down to the sea line cast 90 yds with this and walk back up 50 or 60 yds at least and know i still have 60 or 70 yds of braid left. keep it clean, regarding the anodized body as it will look like it's been washed in an acid bath after a season otherwise. the ratchet slide button on the side plate is closer to the butt section and due to my style of fishing i keep knocking this on whilst in retrieve - something i will adjust to. i maybe tempted to fit a slightly longer handle as it feels to short when winding in. Another thing i have noticed, is the anti reverse mechanism doesn't always engage, possibly due to being new grease or something relating to that so i will strip it soon and have a closer look. overall, i quite like it - floating spool, unlike my penn 535 - this mag 7 i can get 100yds with an axis lob, so with a little practice i may manage a bit more to clear the heaviest rocks in my usual marks. i can do that with my 525mag2 but no bloody line left on the spool.

all good thanks Not a permanent bound book by the way, the pages are pre punched and removeable to transfer into an A4 ring binder so easier to partition study material.
