It is a great lens. I've been using it occasionally adapted via an FTZ onto a Nikon Z7 & the results have been exceptional. It also makes a decent portrait lens too. The only reason it's gone is because I'm gradually migrating everything to native Z lenses, after selling my D810, I have no muse for AF-S lenses. Enjoy you're new micro lens, it's a lovely bit of kit.

Much nicer than the standard RCZ gear knob
Much nicer than the standard RCZ gear knob & it fits my HDi diesel, even though supplier states it doesn’t.

Lovely lens
What a lovely lens this is.
It works amazingly well on my Z7, better than it does on my D810.

Sell the house & the kids, just get one, you won't regret it. 24-70mm King!
This is simply the best lens I have ever owned.
The image quality on the Nikon D800 is beautiful and pin sharp, even at f.2.8.
It's a bit on the heavy side for such a short lens, but it's a price well worth paying.
I bought this as a manufacturer's refurb', making quite a saving on the normal price, bringing it in for about the same price as the inferior Tamron model.
Make no mistake, this is the best 24-70mm lens you can strap onto your full frame FX Nikon camera, by a mile.
Sell the house & the kids, just get one, you won't regret it.
