Pleasantly Suprised
I wasn’t convinced I’d made the right choice after having had a dyson vacuum for the last 10 years plus. I was immediately taken with how light it is and how easy it is to move around. The cynic in me turned this into a worry about build quality especially during the first use as the first 5 minutes saw me trying to use it in the same way as I had my dyson - swearing as I tried to get the extension hose out... however - it picks up like a dream!
We have a Border Collie and a Labrador who both shed fur like crazy. Put this alongside 2 teenagers and a cat and you can see we have our work cut out for us. We live near the beach in a 5 bed Home so lots of sand gets dragged in too and we have a lot of floor to cover. It picks up all the dog hair easily and has enough room in it for me to cover the whole house without needing to empty the sand and dog hair. It’s also pretty quick - like most people we have a mix of carpets and hard floors and the machine does the lot brilliantly with a simple push of a button or a slide of cover to switch between surfaces.
I really wasn’t convinced when it arrived - but I am already sold on it - I’ve even found myself doing the vacuuming more frequently in the last couple of weeks just to use it! Sad but true!
