Innovative, Streamlined Piecing Technique

This book was donated to our quilting guild library, and as librarian I reviewed it carefully...and immediately ordered my own copy! The primary technique Anita introduces turns a strip pieced checkerboard into half square triangles. By using fabric strips cut on the bias, this technique produces perfectly pieced squares in large numbers, fast. Building on this initial technique, Anita offers a range of quilt blocks that are much easier thanks to her easily understood and beautifully presented instructions. A classic.

Perfect every time!
I've made this quilt pattern several times and every one in any size chosen was a knockout. Atkinson patterns are designed to be forgiving. You just can't miss with this pattern.
