First class dog ramp.
If you are looking for a ramp for your dog then I can recommend this one. The only niggle is that it is bulky to stow in the vehicle as it only folds in half. However it is stable when in use, has an excellent non-slip surface and is bent at both ends in a manner that keeps it firmly in place on the vehicle and on the ground.

Good idea, poorly excecuted.
2 of 2 found this helpful The ramp could do with being a few inches longer, but folds up into a very compact package for easy transport in the car in a way that is better than one that folds into two.
However, the working surface is far too smooth and slippery for it to be safe for any dog to use.
Our old dog had her legs go from under her and had to be lifted up before she could regain her footing.
This problem also applied to our much fitter young dog who also went sprawling, half way up the ramp.
The walking surface needs a non-slip coating of some description. I will put one on, rather than return the item, as it is so convenient for stowage, but really I should not be in the position of having to modify a brand new item in order to make it safe to use.

The smell of your youth
I bought a bottle of R40, not to put in any type of racing machinery, but to put in my ride-on mower.
This sad old git still remembers the smell of castor oil at speedway and grass-track meeting from 50 years ago and wanted to savour it again, even if it was during the mundane task of mowing the grass.
You don`t need to put much in a gallon of petrol to get the smell, and it has been reported that its use does coat fuel lines and engine components with a slight covering that seems to ward off the worst effects of the ethanol in modern petrol.
