    Great Little GPS Receiver
I have a Android smartphone and a 7" Android tablet that have built-in GPS. They work but take a long time to acquire satellite signals. I wanted a decent road navigation GPS and discovered that different companies make dedicated GPS receivers that communicate via Bluetooth to your phone or tablet. I did a web search for them and ran across this Tomtom unit for $22.99 and free shipping. Tomtom is one of the big names in GPS and for $23 how could I go wrong? If it didn't work with my phone I wouldn't be out that much money. Well I am pleased to say that it works with my phone quite well. It was easy to pair with the phone and the GPS app I tried connected with it seamlessly. I am a happy camper.

    A Fast Paced Puzzler
This is another sci-fi movie based upon a short story by scifi author Philip K. Dick. (Others are Blade Runner, Imposter, Minority Report.) I like Ben Afleck and what guy doesn't like Uma Thurman. They had a nice chemistry in this film. I also like Paul Giamatti. I thought they all did a fine job. I found the film to be intellectually intiguing as I found myself trying to piece the puzzle together along with Afleck's character, Michael Jennings. It also has good action sequences as all John Woo movies do. If you haven't seen it give it a try. Note that I rented this on Netflix and liked it so much that I bought a copy for my home library.

What the Health Insurance Co's Don't Want Us to Know
Moore takes us on a worldwide tour of health systems. Seems that the rest of the industrialized world, especially Canada & western Europe have single payer, state run health systems and people like it. Quite the opposite of what we are told about them in this country. I especially enjoyed the section about Norway in the special features. Makes me proud of my Scandinavian heritage. Everyone who is concerned about health care here in the US should watch this film.
