Solar Panel 100W Watt 12V PV Off Grid Kit for RV Boat Battery Charger

100 watts of awesome!

The system works beautifully right out of the box. Good instrutions with the controller get you up and running quickly.---follow the instructions to set the battery type, hook up the battery before you connect the panel. The panel seems well constructed and the cables are nice and heavy. Compared to other readily available consumer grade options, this package was a really good deal---much better than anything Harbor Freight or any other ebay store has and a true bargain compared to buying separate components. The seller also indulges in "Make an Offer" which ebay feature I really enjoy---bringing back the almost lost art of haggling to a twenty-first century electronic transaction---I love it! So with a bit of back and forth I got this package quickly shipped for a pretty good price and will shop here again when it comes time to expand my little solar system! I can't speak to its service life but up front and first impressions earn it a solid 5 stars.

Not worth the hassle

Like similar reviews we too struggled with inconsistency in sealing performance with this product. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. We were able to do a side by side comparison between this and the Cabelas brand rolls which never once failed to seal. We just couldn't figure out the problem but I can only guess that either a flaw in the seal or a flaw in the side seam created a leak somewhere that prevented sealing. Not going to buy the cheap stuff any more. 2 stars only because we were able to use a percentage of the product, but in fact I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
