Mighty siver giants of the skies.
A story of about the B52, a great aircraft of the past, present and the future and also the people who flew them and those who kept them there. A look at human conflicts on and off the base and the endurance needed to keep the ships in the air and harmony on the ground. Grand performance of all and particularly from Karl Malden, as an overanxious father and a top line chief. A truly great movie.

The Right Stuff is always best.
Its the best non-documentary story telling of the development of the NASA Astronaut program I have seen. The writing, acting and direction totally carried me with them throughout its 184 minute running time and ensures it a permanent place in my library.
