Great sounding tube!
1 of 1 found this helpful Bought this for mastering. Flat frequency response yet still sounds warm. In youtube videos, it seems to excel for midrange guitar tone, so I was surprised the EQ curve was reliably flat in a mastering chain through a mic pre. I'm actually torn at the moment between this and a short smooth Telefunken (that tends to add a hint silky high end compared to the Mullard). Regardless, I highly recommend the Mullard I63 for any job.
