Cat scratch pad - too small..........

Simple to setup and use, no nonsense, a few frillls 2m mobile transceiver
This mobile rig is perfect for......mobile use. It has
(a) a large, easy to see display
(b) a vfo, MR and home mode i.e. you can be on your favourite frequencies at the touch of a button
(c) QRP to high power, real useful for mobile working
(d) rugged build and the knobs and buttons feel beefy and real
(e) narrow and wide FM deviation to suit most repeaters
(f) audio output is amazingly loud and clear - a real bonus in the car
Before fitting in car, I carried out a few mods to the mic (details on internet) and the audio is now loud and clear. At the price I bought it for, I might buy another.

This device plays mp3 and wma tracks. To get the best sound you need to go into settings and setup to your personal preferences. I prefer the double bass and SRS settings. Volume is loud and clear with no parental controls on setting higher volume levels. Other useful setting include 'random play' and the ability to switch the device off after a certain period. The radio also works well with decent quality reception. Overall this device is basic yet performs like a champ.
This mp3 player is well worth the £3.99 it cost
