Uncoventional and original business sense from one who has done it!
Author John Harrison has co-created a profitable business from a surprisingly small initial investment. Here he shares many gems of wisdom but this is no boring management text book! It has dozens of good ideas and quit a few laughs. Wish I had read more like this and fewer of the 'standard business books' when I was starting out. If you are serious about making money but relaxed about the fun elements of being an entrepreneur, then this one is for you. If you want more, John has published another six volumes!

A leading photographer/lomographer shares his knowledge and enthusiasm
Low on theory but sky high on practicality. Brighton based author Kevin Meredith [aka Lomokev]offers great and clear advice on the basics of photography with ample illustrations of the points made. Superb for beginners - and especially those who have only hitherto used point and shoot digital devices - as well as handy reminders for those of us who have been around the block a few times. Nicely produced and excellent value.

I loved it so much that I bought another - now that's amazing too!
I very rarely write reviews but my Wanderings Traveler's Notebook [TN] is such amazing value that I just HAD to share my enthusiasm. The TN market is awash with variations on the original MTN theme and the quality of the Wanderings product is up there with the original. Instead of endless and expensive customizing options and fancy packaging, you get an honest product in a plain box at around one fifth of the price of the high-end brand leader. Refills or inserts are also about a fifth of other brands and work fine with my Pilot V5 tecpoint pens and the brass ball pen. A special feature for me is that Wanderings inserts are stitched all along the spine instead of simply stapled. This matters because I live on the coast and staples go rusty with time whilst cotton stitching in Kraft covers endures. I cannot tell if Wanderings are still being made as their blog hasn't been updated for ages. There are plenty of other reviews and pictures on the net but these shots are my own heavenly Wanderings twins.
