Classic HiFi Tuner
A real classic British hi-fi tuner. Superb sound quality, even when compared with modern equivalents ... and far far better than DAB.

Does what it says on the tin
I used it to switch audio from two PCs (mine and a works laptop) to an amplifier. It's simple, no gimicks and it works well. Best of all, it doesn't require any power or batteries.

Irresistible
I bought two of these packs to build a dummy load for testing power supplies.
By using a combination of these resistors in parallel and series it is possible to construct high power resistances of various values, from 1 ohm to 100 ohms ... just what I needed.
The resistors appear to work fine. The measured value is about right, and they can withstand the rated 10 watts. Of course they do get very hot at this power, but that is normal - use them in a well ventilated, heat proof case and be careful not to touch them when operating.
