Its a genuine Panasonic part ,can't say anymore really!!

Worked Ok in the end.
I took a gamble on these as with this particular germanium transistor they are prone to developing internal shorts due to "Whisker growth" even if not used before.
One was OK, the other not, but by collecting emitter, base and collector together and applying 24 v between them and screen, this cleared the short! Doesn't always work but worth a try!
