great 2 channel audio blu-ray player
2 of 2 found this helpful This BDP-80FD is the best (that I have found) low-cost, two-channel stereo, blu-ray all disk player, with RCA analog audio out which is good for 2-channel stereo folks like me. It plays all formats including SACD. It has a ton of features (e.g., Wi-Fi, direct cast, etc.) that I don't even use. It has good quality DAC outputs, and sounds better than most CD players. It is kind of light and cheaply constructed for pioneer Elite, but works very well. I have two of them for various stereos, and move them around all the time. I upgraded the main really good stereo to the Oppo UDP-203, which sound even better than the BDP-80FD (but at 3X the price).
