Good for amatuer use
I bought these purely to strip down a Dyson vacuum cleaner and they served this purpose just fine. You can tell that they are not the best quality and I don't think they would stand up to daily use in a workshop but for the price paid and DIY/occasional use you can't go wrong.

Recommended
I've been using this purely to rip CDs to iTunes on my micro PC and it works just fine for this application. Windows 10 recognises and operates with the drive without issue. I haven't had to use the (provided) extra power cable yet as the USB lead seems fine, I'm not sure if this would be the case using the drive for more intensive applications. I can't comment on its CD burning capabilities as I haven't (and probably will never) copied a disc. The included carry bag is poor quality, mine won't zip up, but this isn't important to me, the build quality of the drive itself seems very good. Overall, I recommend this device highly, it is great value and works well.

Good Replacement Remote
I purchased this for my Dad to replace his remote that had several broken buttons. It seems of a good quality, most importantly all the buttons work! Only time will tell how long it lasts but first impressions are good.
