It works
1 of 1 found this helpful Wanting to etch glass without handling dangerous Fluoric acid I thought I'd give this a go. It works exactly as I hoped. You get good opacity of glass on areas where the paste is present for about 10 minutes. It still needs careful handling but negligible compared to liquid reagents. The manufacturer says it is not suitable for large areas but for making decorations on glass it is just the job.
