The Q25 good little midi controller
1 of 1 found this helpful Bought this to "extend" an existing keyboard, to use as a "2nd Tier" - to which it does a great job. It's one of the few 2-octave controllers that actually has an old-school MIDI socket, proper "wheels" AND sustain pedal input. One thing to note however, Alesis assume you're going to use the USB to power it up so they DON'T come with a mains power supply! Mercifully Alesis have abandoned their insistence on an AC/AC input, so any 9v barrel jack (2.1mm core) wallwart will work, or you can use a generic 5v mains to USB "B" socket. But you will need one if you're taking it out of the studio.

Great cupboards
These units are made to a high standard and add the touch of beauty to a living room at a reasonable price. Bonus too that they are ready assembled. Would recommend have been really pleased with my purchases.
