Should include calibration weight

As an indicator that there IS voltage it's okay
Not so much a flashlight as the battery lasts a shift at best, more an indication that the voltage detector SHOULD be working.
As a non contact detector it gives you a positive sign for voltage but don't bet your life on it that the voltage is gone/safe
