Portable, rugged and very nice to use.
I bought my T4010 in September 2009 already as second hand, because I really wanted to have a tablet pc, but I couldn't afford the expensive new ones. Although it was already some 4 years old when I bought it, it was still running fine, the case was in a single piece, besides some scratches and a few small cracks. The only defect that appeared on it was one key (the 'd') that stopped working, besides another (the 'b') that also was intermittent.
The battery lasts for 2h30 under normal load (internet browsing using wifi) or 1h30 under heavy load (playing Flight Simulator X). Concerning to the performance, it is just enough for the everyday usage. I could play FSX with low settings and Need for Speed Porsche Unleashed in the max settings very smoothly. It can also play videos up to 1280x720 without any hardware acceleration, although at this resolution the videos are not running very smooth, but I could watch to animes like that. At 1920x1080 it would be just too jerky to be viewable. The original hard drive, of only 40Gb, I replaced for a 320Gb, which is the max for this laptop, since it uses a PATA interface. I never see a hard drive bigger than that with PATA interface, but if the is, I think that it would support. The screen has a resolution of 1024x768, which I think is small, but is in the line with contemporary laptops and also considering its small size of 10.1". It has a bluetooth card that I use to connect to my wireless mouse and keyboard. It works out of box with Windows 7 and Ubuntu Linux, but it is not very easy to setup it with XP. Another point: it won't work with high fidelity headsets, just for phone calls.
I used to have Windows XP tablet with Ubuntu Linux 9.10 then 10.04. The support for Ubuntu Linux is very good, although the drivers for the video may not work because of a bug in the Intel drivers, but it is easy to work around it. Since the 10.10 this is done automatically. The stylus also works out-of-box in Ubuntu. Since I replaced the hard drive I changed the OS to Windows 7 + Ubuntu 10.10. Windows 7 lacks GPU drivers, so games and videos would run unacceptably slow like that, although everything works well like the stylus also (Windows 7 has support to tablets).
In the sum up, I would say that I really liked the computer, I would recommend everyone who would want a small laptop with tablet capabilities which still have a DVD reader/CD writer and can perform very well as your everyday computer (it did with me), and also can be bought for a low price. I think that the newer Fujitsu tablets of the T series can also perform much better, considering the same tablet design with updated hardware.
Like:
- Light
- Rugged
- Battery duration
Dislike:
- Small original hard drive
- Bluetooth doesn't work with hifi headset.
- Could have a better CPU/GPU (c'mom, this is a tablet, not a gaming laptop)

Excellent memory. Works great on my newer laptop, but not on an older one, despite being also DDR3. I just didn't check the compatibility, so I can't blame. It worked great on the other laptop, however.
