Ten Men You Meet In The Huddle by Bill Curry

Another hard-to-put-down book. Please read this one if you care one inkling about football OR if you have ever heard of Don Shula, Johnny Unitas, Willie Davis, Bart Starr, George Plimpton, or Bobby Dodd OR IF YOU CARE TO BE INSPIRED BY ONE OF THE GREATEST MOTIVATORS OF OUR TIME~~~Coach Bill Curry. Now coaching once again, Coach Curry is recruiting a brand new southern University football team for Georgia State University in Atlanta, and the team will compete in the regular college football season in 2010. To read this book, Ten Men You Meet In The Huddle, is to know where this coach comes from, where he gets his superior teaching/coaching/training abilities, and some of the "why" he is sought after by students (and their parents) who want to be Coach Curry's players. This is not especially a book about football as much as a book about real life. You will probably want to read this one twice. Thanks for reading my review. (01-05-09)
