Not sure if it's safe

I bought these in good faith as I experienced vibration from the handlebars, easy to fit but the foam is far from comfortable in fact I only used them for 5 miles before I felt unsafe ? They seem to stop the connection with the throttle in my opinion (I have small hands) and the foam slowly moved as well meaning I didn't know if I was opening the throttle ? I took them off and waisted money but realised if it looks crap it probably is crap
