Entertaining first season for Happy Days spin off

Exciting first season of what was a mega hit back in the 70s. The girls are fun and the escapes colourful. Fonzie from Happy Days appears in the first two episodes which are a bonus for Happy Days fans.

Nice Surprise

I grew up watching earlier Superfriends. But I had never seen this season or any after. I was pleasantly surprised. i liked how it fleshed out the "guest" charachters more. We saw more of Green Lantern, the Atom, Hawkman and Hawk Girl, plus the hanna barbera created Apache Chief, Samarai and Black Vulcan. Although I loved the half hour episodes from the previous two seasons, the 3 seven or eight minute episodes give variety and harken back to the filmation cartoons of the 1960s.

Bluray, but only plays for region one. You will need a multi region Bluray player.

Its hard to give a review as this region one bluray does not play on my regular bluray player. My multi region player is only for dvds. This is the first bluray I bought from overseas that was not a multi region set. All mty other blurays from overseas play on my region 4 player, but one doesn't. I'm sure I'll love rewatching this childhood favourite when I can.
