Does the job

The Galaxy 3 will just likely be an upgrade.
Initially I had doubts; it wouldn't turn on from new. I had a problem with it turning itself off in my pocket, which was since found to be that the off button is to pronounced, so when it was held on for five seconds, it initiates a shut down. This accepted; every other function of the device easily trounces every other smart-phone available. Admittedly at a price, but the phrase 'you get what you pay for' describes the end user experience. If you want the best, this is it.

I bought this for bird watching. Its perfect. 10x with close focus with the flexibility to zoom further.
