A very good mech for 8 speed use
For those of us that feel 8 speed is just fine, this is a good value and well made mech from Shimano.
It shaves 40g off the Acera unit I have which is all a bonus. I like the 13 teeth jockey wheels which are new to me but work well.
I like the Alivio range for value and I have several bikes. For road use and light tracks I dont need anything more. The shifting is very good and its all easy to set up with a quality feel. I paid £17.95 for the 410 rear mech and am very happy with that
