Motley Crue - Decade Of Decadence 1981-1991
There probably isn't another band like Motley Crue, they are the personification of the cliches Hard Rock and Metal are all about. Sex, Drugs and Rock 'n' Roll and more besides. What is almost forgotten what a brillant band Motley Crue are and still are. Decade of Decandence is really a Greatest Hits album but all the tunes have been remix and given a rawer and heavier edge to them. Thanks to the producer Bob Rock who produced Bon Jovi's Keep The Faith and Metallica. Check out the heavy Livewire Kickass Remix, the earsplittin Live version of Kickstart My Heart and the very best song Crue ever recorded Dr Feelgood. So if you like your Metal raw and heavy look no further than this piece of class.

To start off the show is pretty good, and a pretty good spectacle. Though the band are pretty static throughout the show, the circus show does liven things up though. The song list is good and you get plenty of them, and its a really comprehensive setlist. Bad points though are Vince Neils voice, which is a little weak at times, but he was never the greatest vocalist. in his prime, so I was not too shocked. But there are some downsides to the DVD, and Its is the sound and camera shots. I played this through an expensive surround sound system, which my other music DVD's sound amazing through. Not this one though it sounds awful in surround, it only sounds good in stereo, which is a shame as the visual quality is good. My other gripe is the flamin camera which seems to pan to the crowd constantly! I dont want to see a load of idiots giving devil horns all the time, some of the ladies are Ok but you get sick of seeing the same ones time and time again. And it quickly becomes very irritating! It improves later in the show though when this dies off a little.
