Clarity and quality

Happy but heavy
3 of 4 found this helpful How great it is to buy British and what a great piece of catapult kit. My only reason for not full marks is that I like the hunting/fishing lifestyle and though this is a beautifully and ergonomically-designed tool, 'lesser' metal catapults can have the hunting edge. Having used other polypropylene or metal catapults with Therabands, despite the lovely hand-fit, I feel that the weight of this weapon detracts from the use. However, maybe like my fly-fishing reels there's a way to retain the lovely shape and design but lose some weight and my machined aluminium fly reels achieve that by having holes drilled through them. It doesn't compromise the action or aesthetics but keeps the weight down. Also, a non-glinting surface would be beneficial as I can imagine the highly-polished surface reflecting the sun a kilometre away, alerting your quarry way before you knew it! (I may matt olive-spray mine). Keep it indoors too if you can as it can be very cold to hold. Still, it remains an undeniably beautiful catapult, a sculptured work of art and up there with my favourites, so I am already a loyal fan and keen to see more.
