A staple

For any Cure fan, Head on the Door is a staple. I consider this album one of my favorites of theirs - it screams 80s and has such a diverse and unpredictable group of tracks that only the atmosphere of the experimental 80s could offer. My favorite track is A Night Like This. I think it's an important album just because it truly showcases earlier Cure and what drew fans to their unique style.

The best Bible for daily use

I have a lot of difficulty understanding even basic Biblical text. The Word is not simple to grasp, hence the many denominations out there. I have always wanted to be able to merely pick up my Bible, read and learn, but got lost in Biblical wording, situations or history. The Concordia Self-Study Bible was suggested to me by my dad and my Pastor to help me understand the passages better. I am enjoying the Bible more because I am having an easier time understanding it. The language is simplified and there is reference information that goes into detail of the passages. Often details have historical information that help you get oriented with when something was written, background on people involved in a particular passage as well as customary behaviors. Those kind of details give me background and visuals to get into what I'm reading. The simplified and modern text is an immense help. This Bible is pricey so find a used one if you can. It's worth the money. I'm thankful I have mine. The actual cover isn't pretty like some Bibles are, but the gem is inside the cover. Keep your fancy Bible for ceremony and this one for daily use.
