Stop trying to fix your carb, buy a new one !!
I spent just about the same price for repair gaskets and diaphragms , meddle valves, etc. My time is too valuable to waste. I bought this one , but a new gasket for the side that fits into the engine for .50 , and a new fuel filter for .75, installed the new carb, replaced the filter , it cranked on the second pull.
