For space and missile scale plastic model builders and collectors, it's always nice to be able to buy a reissue of an old, out of production kit.
For builders and collectors, it's always nice to be able to buy a reissue of an old, out of production kit at a reasonable price instead of major $$$ for an original which often is missing parts. There weren't a lot of space and missile kits produced compared to aircraft, tanks, ships, etc. Kudos to Glencoe Models for all of the reissues.

I have purchased several and they are typically very dry and need to be soaked in Neatsfoot oil leather conditioner for several days to prevent cracking when installed. Both of my MP40 slings came with two loops instead of as pictured with one. Great value but do condition the leather first. I put mine in a zip-loc bag and poured in several ounces of Neatsfoot oil and let it soak for over 48 hours shaking the bag occasionally. Wipe down with paper towels. Do the loops also.
