Fail Safe for model planes
Mark was on about getting some of these Receivers so I had to get a couple they take all the guesswork out of a
NEW build plane...
And they are in fact a 7 ch Receiver
The gear switch is ch5 and panic recovery is ch 6 but on the Receiver there is no physical port to see as these are taken up by the SAFE technology ... but there is AUX 2 so if you have computer sets you can use or assign it to say flaps or gear i fitted one in my Tutor 11 high wing trainer
there not cheap I know but they can and do save all the hassle out of flying if you're a beginner and you now have no fear of crashing your model just remember to flick the switch to beginner mode on take off and landings until you get better at flying
I consider myself an intermediate pilot and when you switch off the safe mode your Receivers is just like any other .. that's to say you make a mistake and you could lose a plane but if you lose orientation just flick the switch and WOW back to safe and level flight ...Fantastic item so if you have a £20 or a £2000 plane and not sure ... then get one of these in and go have some fun
