Works well as a Trap Stock
I've had this Remington 1100 Skeet gun since 1966. I bought a Trap barrel for it and needed a Trap stock with a higher comb to adjust the impact point of the shot charge with the barrel rib sight picture. This Remington Monte Carlo stock does exactly that. The installation was easy and the fit of the stock was perfect after removing the thin metal spacer at the rear of the receiver. The forearm needed a slight widening adjustment where it makes contact with the front of the receiver that can be done easily with a file, I used a Dremel tool. I wanted to use this old 1100 as loaner gun for when I take friends and family to the clay target club and allow them to shoot. This stock allowed me to do just that. I'm very pleased with this purchase.
