Great Detector and a great value.
Simple to install, plug and play when replacing an existing Kedde detector. Detector tested out great, now hope we don't have to really use it! The talking aspects of the detector makes it easy to determine what is being alarmed.

Works well with upgraded axel strength
The front axel broke on my Racer and it was nice to see that Pentair re-engineered the chassis to include the Tie bar that had what looked to be stronger axel attachments. It took a while to remove and replace the chassis but it now works great.
In the teardown I did find that the generator wheel was so completely worn that the generator would not make enough power to run the LEDs. I remove the whole generator assembly & LEDs. It work just fine without it and is not noticeable, since I only run the sweep during the day and you can't see the blue LEDs anyway.
