Seems to work, but hard to tell for sure.
Appears to be a legit item, but hard to tell as despite what one of the other reviewers say here, you need to register the unit with the toyota / lexus ECU if you want to use on a 2007 Lexus GS450h... ;)
Seems like registration requires use of a £20 special cable and running some hooky software from ebay that only runs on old Windows software or paying many times that amount to a garage with the right software / cable...
Was not able to determine an ID for the device sent to me, which makes such registration hard, either way looks like this is only part of the solution.

They work, but if you can, choose some other mesh system.
2 of 2 found this helpful The Velop range of mesh wifi systems is long established, and if you already have some then (as I did) buying some more to fill in gaps in mesh coverage is a good idea.
The Velop mesh system works well: once it is set up it tends to just work, and if you have issues the Velop customer support system is good - Linksys certainly try to ensure you are happy with the product.
But my recommendation is that if you you can buy something else then do.
A quick look at the Velop community support site will indicate that there are many unresolved issues with this system. For example to work, the Velop routers need good connections between each base station - without this the network the base stations create is unreliable and slow. But there is no sensible method offered for determining whether the base-stations are close enough together - and it turns out the allowable distance between base units is *small* (unless you wire them together using ethernet cable). To get reliable connections across my small two-storey house I ended up having to put in six base stations...
It would seem other mesh products (e.g. Orbi) don't have the same problems, and are therefore a possibly a better option.

Great value way to improve performance of early Mac Pros (2006 models)!
1 of 1 found this helpful I got a pair of these to replace standard processors in a MacPro 1,1 - which is designed to allow the processors to be upgraded. There are several "how to do this" reports on the web, and the upgrade itself was pretty easy to do. And the results completely as expected - CPU performance roughly doubled (Geekbench went from 5400 to 10221).
The processors cost a fortune 'new' but there are many around from refurbished cpu shops, and the prices on these are pretty good currently.
